Highland Park Incident: Dog Shot by Police in Response
In the Highland Park district of Los Angeles on Tuesday night, police fired shot on a dog that was assaulting a human resident of the neighborhood.
According to KTLA, a representative for the Los Angeles Police Department told them that the officers were responding to a complaint of a domestic battery about 11:45 p.m. in the 4900 block of Marmion Way when they noticed a dog assaulting a human.

The dog was shot multiple times by the police at some point during the event. It was not clear whether or not the dog had been shot to death in the incident.
There were no further reported injuries, and there was no information regarding whether or not any arrests were made.
