There were multiple gunshot wounds and other injuries in Henry County from what law enforcement officers called a gunfight.
“Four people were rushed to the hospital, and two underwent surgery but are expected to survive,” Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship told News4. “The other two victims were treated and released.”
In addition to those who were shot, he stated that a number of other people were hurt while attempting to escape the gunfire that started late on Saturday night at the hands of six or seven gunmen.

The event took place during a field party where admittance was charged, a practice the sheriff claimed had happened elsewhere in the county.
He intends to address county officials about what he views as a persistent problem, which includes an earlier gathering in the vicinity of Saturday’s shooting that saw no deputies make any quick arrests.
