Forsyth County Offers Free Wedding Ceremonies on Valentine’s Day
This Valentine’s Day, couples in Forsyth County have a special reason to celebrate. The Forsyth County Probate Court is offering free wedding ceremonies to residents looking to get married.
Probate Court Judge Daisy Weeks-Marisko expressed excitement about being part of these significant moments, saying, “What better way to celebrate love than weddings on Valentine’s Day?”
Event Details: A Day of Romance and Commitment
The free wedding ceremonies will be basic civil ceremonies and will take place in the Probate Court Courtroom at 100 W. Courthouse Square, Suite 008.
These events are scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., allowing couples to celebrate their love on one of the most romantic days of the year.
Requirements for Prospective Couples
Interested couples need to fill out a registration form and apply for a marriage license at the Probate Court by February 9.
On the wedding day, they should bring their marriage license and a valid photo ID.
