Florida Girl is Still Missing After Her Mother’s Boyfriend Got Caught for Disturbing Photos

Madeline Soto, 13, is still missing after her mother’s boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, was arrested on charges of s*xual battery and possession of child s*xual abuse material, according to Florida officials.

The last time Soto was seen was on February 26. According to a news statement from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Sterns, 37, was the last person to see her.

Sterns’s phone had disturbing photos that detectives with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office found while investigating Soto’s disappearance, according to authorities.

According to authorities, the pictures and videos were “criminal and s*xual in nature.” Investigators also discovered attempts to remove evidence using phone data.

According to investigators, the illicit conduct took place at the family’s Kissimmee residence.

After being informed, the Kissimmee authorities Department’s detectives will now collaborate with Orange County’s criminal investigations section on a case involving alleged s*xual battery, according to authorities.

When Sterns was brought in for interrogation on Thursday, he cited his right to counsel.

He was taken into custody and sent to jail; according to the sheriff’s office, it is anticipated that he will be detained without bond.

The contents of Sterns’ charges are not disclosed in the jail documents.

“Stephan Sterns had an opportunity tonight to come clean with detectives and help lead them to information about Maddie’s disappearance,” stated Sheriff John Mina. “Her loved ones deserve answers and OCSO and the Kisssimmee Police will not stop until we find Maddie.”

When Madeline was last seen, she was sporting a white Crocs sneaker, black shorts, and a green hoodie.
