Ferndale Police Caught Shooting Suspect Who Killed a Person and Injured Two More
A shooting that took place in Ferndale on Sunday evening resulted in the death of one lady and the injury of two others, according to the reports that Lake County officials released on Monday morning.
According to a press statement issued by Lake County Sheriff Don Bell, about 9:08 p.m. on Sunday, a disturbance that involved a guy armed with a gun was reported to Lake County 911. Cayuse Lane was the location of the house where the incident took place.
In a short period of time after that, another caller stated that they had been shot by a man.

Matthew Vitek, 49 years old, a resident of Bigfork, was taken into custody by deputies from Lake and Flathead counties after they arrived at the scene. Vitek is suspected of committing deliberate homicide as well as attempted deliberate homicide.
Deputies discovered three victims who had been shot. According to what Bell said, Tammi Jordan, who was 56 years old and from Bigfork, passed away as a result of her injuries.

Both of the other individuals had received medical attention for their injuries, and as of early Monday morning, their condition was considered to be stable. Their identities were not disclosed to the public.
After the victims were transported to the hospital, the investigators went ahead and secured a search warrant in order to conduct the investigation at the crime scene.
According to the press statement, Vitek is currently being held at the Lake County jail, where he is being held on accusations of attempted and deliberate homicide.
