Fears Murder Gang Targeting Gay Men in NYC’s LGBTQ+ Nightlife

Gangs of murderers drug gay men’s roofies in New York’s LGBTQ+ nightlife. Two Hell’s Kitchen LGBTQ+ people have been slain recently, and other homosexual men have been drugged and left thousands of dollars in debt.

Investigating the Unfortunate Death

The New York City Police Department‘s murder section is now investigating the unfortunate death of Julio Ramirez, 25, after he died in the rear seat of a cab on April 21.

It was approximately 3.17 a.m. when he exited a homosexual club in Manhattan with a group of guys who grabbed his mobile phone, wallet, and driving licence.

His corpse was unceremoniously placed in the vehicle next to an embarrassed taxi driver.
Julio Ramirez’s brother Carlos told the New York Times: “Nobody believed it was a crime at first; they had simply assumed he had stolen something.”

And only a few miles from where Mr. Ramirez was last spotted, John Umberger, 33, was discovered dead in an Upper East Side home.

CCTV video from Q nightclub in Manhattan on May 28 showed Mr. Umberger being led to the vehicle by two guys.

John’s mother, Linda Clary, warned New Yorkers last week about clubbers being targeted by criminal gangs.

Died of Drug Overdoses

“This same set of assassins has drugged, robbed, and killed numerous young homosexual guys in New York,” she told the New York Post.

Toxicology tests proved Mr. Umberger and Mr. Ramirez died of drug overdoses after being “roofied” with date-related medications.

Mr. Umberger was discovered to have cocaine, lidocaine, and fentanyl in his system.
The Police Department’s homicide squad is currently probing the killings.

First, people in the LGBTQ+ community thought the men had died of drug overdoses after having too much fun.

However, many men’s families saw a trend toward maxed-out credit cards. Their phones drained thousands of dollars from their bank accounts.

Victims of Crimes Rather Than Overzealous Partygoers

After many Hell’s Kitchen assaults, police are investigating robberies. They couldn’t say whether Mr. Ramirez and Mr. Umberger were targeted for being homosexual.

Some of the drugged males stated that police struggled to believe they were victims of crimes rather than overzealous partygoers.

Oscar Alarcon, 33, says he was given drugs after he woke up on the floor of the Ritz in March 2020.

He saw that he was $2,000 (£1,600) down when the criminals moved money from his mobile phone using PayPal and Zelle applications.

Mr. Alarcon reported the crime to the police but never heard back. He stated at that time they “didn’t appear interested.”

The guys said strangers drugged them in each bar assault. Tyler Burt, 27, alleges he was drugged at the Boiler Room in December and robbed of $25,000 (£20,000) after his drug test showed cocaine.

This is despite having no memory of taking the medicine, as his doctor thinks he had been drugged with the substance GHB.

GHB, a date-related drug, is not tested.

The medications linger in a person’s system for a brief period, which makes it incredibly tough to show up.
