Elderly Two Men Hospitalized In Terrible ATV Collision In Sissonville!
Following their collision with an ATV in Sissonville on Thursday night, two men, both in their 80s, were taken to the hospital. According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, this happened in the 8600 block of Sissonville Drive just after 6 p.m.
The men were allegedly standing behind the ATV while the driver was loading logs, according to deputies. The ATV broke down at this point, accelerating fully into reverse and striking both men. One of them suffered serious injuries after falling over a 20-foot slope.
First responders were able to transport them to the hospital by ambulance while a chopper was placed on standby. According to deputies, they’re thought to be in stable condition.

There were not any charges made against the driver.
