Dorchester County Gas Station Shooting Under Investigation
A fatal shooting that occurred at a gas station on Sunday evening is being investigated by deputies from Dorchester County.
On Sunday evening at approximately 11:20 p.m., the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Parker’s Kitchen located at the intersection of Ashley Phosphate and Windsor Hill Boulevard in response to multiple complaints of gunfire.

When the deputies arrived, they discovered one individual who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Lieutenant Rick Carson.
An additional casualty arrived at a nearby hospital a short while after the first victim. Carson reported that the sufferer was moved to the operating room. The current state of their health is unknown at this time.

According to Carson, it is not thought that the gunshot is connected to an earlier shooting that took place on Windsor Hill Boulevard and was handled by the North Charleston Police Department of Department.
