According to the Dallas Police Department, an argument preceded the shooting death of a 25-year-old man that occurred on Sunday night in the northeastern section of Dallas.
Officers from the DPD stated that they were initially dispatched to a shooting that took place in the 9600 block of Skillman Street at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Officers found the victim, later identified as Jamarkus Homes, suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a company located in the 10300 block of Forest Lane, close to Skillman Street, when they got on the scene. According to the authorities, Homes succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

It was found during the investigation, according to the DPD, that an unidentified male suspect shot Homes after the suspect got into an argument with Homes.
There has not been any attempt at arrest. According to the police, the inquiry is still active.
