His strength and determination inspired those around him as he continued to volunteer for various causes, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, American Red Cross, Humane Society, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

His funeral, held at the Salt Lake City Community Church on January 15, 2024, became an emotional tribute. Hundreds of people attended to share memories, express condolences, and honor Clayton’s life.

The chapel, which was decorated with flowers, pictures, and candles, formed an appropriate setting for the passionate eulogies, readings of Clayton’s favorite poems, and performances of beloved music.
