Child Tax Credit: Key Requirement Drop Can Pay Out Billions to Illegal Immigrants

President Biden’s huge $1.75 trillion spending note would leave a child tax credit plan that could point to billions in payouts to unlawful immigrants.

Tucked off on page 1,647 of the Build Back Better Act, the Democrats’ social spending package is a plan that would revoke the Social Security amount needed to get child tax assets.

This addition would increase child tax assets to parents of unauthorized foreigners who don’t have Social Security estimates.

Steven Camarota, a Center for Immigration Studies investigator, concluded that dropping the claim could appear in up to $2.3 billion in other child tax assets payouts to unauthorized newcomers.

“Unauthorized immigrants can get goods on behalf of their U.S.-born kids,” Camarota said Fox News.

“But the constant removal of the SSN condition indicates that also illegal foreigners whose kids are further illegally in the country can get cash returns, involving the approximately 600,000 abandoned children and persons in family members stopped at the edge in FY2021 and published.”

Camarota further calculates an $8.2 billion payout from the increased child tax assets to unauthorized immigrants with U.S.-born kids.

“In computing to leaving the Social Security number must, the release of payments for unauthorized immigrants are presented all the more obvious because agreement also excludes the work condition for next year,” Camarota stated.

“In the history, some unauthorized immigrants who served off the books sometimes had trouble explaining employment income, but presently that won’t be a difficulty.”

In 2021, the American Rescue Plan raised the highest child tax credits from $2,000 to $3,600 per kid under 6 years old and from $2,000 to $3,000 for kids ages 6 to 17.

The innovative proposal would extend these figures through 2022. Working families currently get the full credit if they make up to $150,000 for a couple or $112,500 for a family with a single parent.

Families who did not make enough to be required to file taxes are also eligible for the credits.

The new legislation would eliminate the work requirement, which has caused friction between Sen. Joe Manchin and other Democrats.

“I think the government must be your most reliable associate, but it shouldn’t be your provider,” the West Virginia Democrat spoke of the condition.

“We have a good commitment to give for those who have inadequacies, such as physical or subconscious. But everyone else must be able to support and part in, so that’s my mindset.”

The child tax credits increases are not linked to the Biden administration’s drifted opinion of payouts to unauthorized immigrant families divided at the border.
