Chicago Man Stole A Women’s Car After Following and Attacking Her-Police Revealed the Incident’s Video
Authorities in Chicago are searching for a guy who followed a lady into business in September before beating and taking her car. At 7:30 p.m. on September 24 in the 1500 block of West Monroe Street, in the West Loop district of Chicago, police say a robbery and car theft are alleged to have occurred.
Video released by police shows the suspect following the victim inside the building after she entered through a door. The man, who police described as “armed with an object,” then seems to push the woman, leading to a brief altercation.

The number of reported thefts has increased by 60% this year, from 10,728 in 2021 to 17,136 through November 6. The number of reported auto theft cases has up 90% year-over-year, from 8,644 in 2021 to 16,396 this year.
