Chicago Man charged with Illegaly Loaded Gun, Cocaine on CTA Train in the Loop

A Chicago man has been charged with having a loaded pistol, cocaine, and fentanyl aboard a Chicago Transit Authority train in violation of federal law.

Promoting Illegal Drug Trafficking

Terrell Weathers, 29, is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine and fentanyl for distribution, and possession of a handgun in furtherance of a narcotics trafficking felony.

On July 13, 2021, Weathers reportedly had the narcotics and firearms.

Officers from the Chicago Police Department nabbed him on the CTA Green Line at the Adams/Wabash station in the Loop.

According to authorities, Weathers was previously convicted of a criminal crime.

He is forbidden by law from owning a handgun.
