On Tuesday, a person was shot and murdered in Chicago, and two teenagers were injured.
The deadly shooting took place in the South Side neighbourhood of Chatham.
At approximately 7:45 AM, a 25-year-old male was shot in the chest and arm. According to Chicago police, it happened near the 400 block of East 80th Street.

Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said he was transferred to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he subsequently died. Everyone was free, and no one was in detention.
The youths, aged 15 and 18, were discovered by authorities at 12:40 a.m. in a living room on the 11600 block of South Yale Avenue.
The youngster was shot in the head and is now in serious condition at Comer Children’s Hospital. He had bullet holes in his chest, leg, and hand when he recovered.

He is now in serious condition at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. We found two firearms at the site. As far as anybody knows, nobody was taken into custody.
The weekend saw six individuals shot and murdered and twenty-one others injured in Chicago; on Monday, five people were killed and seven others were injured in shootings.
