On the West Side, a ride-hailing passenger was shot Thursday night in West Garfield Park.
The 23-year-old man was in the back seat of a sedan traveling in the 4400 block of West Lake Street around 10 p.m. when an occupant of a dark SUV opened fire, according to Chicago police.
According to police, The 23-year-old man was shot in the back and right arm. The victim has taken to the Stroger Hospital in good condition by Chicago fire officials.
There are no arrests reported. Area Four detectives are looking into it.
