Break in the Water Main Causes Flooding at Chicago’s Post Office

The Chicago Post Office has temporarily ceased retail operations.

Those interested in visiting the Near West Side location can do so at 433 West Harrison Street. A broken water main has forced the suspension of operations. The post office is currently investigating the damage’s extent and planning for cleanup. You are strongly encouraged to look elsewhere if you require any of their services.

In a statement, USPS said, “Customers may access retail services at other locations available on USPS.com, under “Quick Tools” the “Find USPS locations”- https://tools.usps.com/find-location.htm.
