Biden Emerges as Most Disappointing US President of All-Time!
Joe Biden has accomplished at least one historic achievement – though it is unlikely to be the one he hoped for – as polls show he has lost the greatest ground in voter support as a new president among other past US presidents in the past 75 years.
Amid US withdrawal from Afghanistan, a border crisis, and surging Covid-19 infections, Joe Biden’s approval ratings fell sharply beginning in July and continued to plummet throughout the summer.
During the first half of this year, the president’s approval rating in Gallup’s polls dropped from 56 to 42 percent.
President Biden is also polarizing, like Trump in America’s presidential history.
Former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, on the other hand, had their approval ratings plummet by 4.4 and 6.8 percentage points.

George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, on the other hand, performed admirably during their first nine months in office, gaining 12 and 13.1 approval percentage points, sequentially.
Also, Jimmy Carter, an uncommon one-term president who had Ronald Reagan run away with 91 percent of the electoral votes in the 1980 election, had his approval rating drop by only 8.9 points at the beginning of his presidency.
Only 4% of Republicans approved of Biden’s job performance, in contrast to 92% of Democrats who also revealed they gave their approval rating.
Gallup has conducted polls since 1928, and this 88-point gap is the second-largest in that period; only the 92-point gap on Trump’s approval ratings in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election was larger.
According to a new Gallup poll, Biden’s average rating in the third quarter of his presidency was 44.7 percent, which dropped from 56 percent since his first three months at the White House, with only 42 percent of Americans approving of his job performance as of October.
Biden’s popularity has plummeted among middle-class, independent voters.
Gallup’s latest survey shows that 34% of respondents approve of the president’s performance, a 27-point decline since February and a 21-point decrease since June.
The fact that Biden was still able to maintain a consistently high approval rating or that 92 percent of Democrats are satisfied with his performance was shocking to many on social media.
As a matter of fact, his approval ratings have fallen in other surveys as well. A Grinnell College survey conducted last week showed 36 percent approval for the president, while a Quinnipiac University poll done this month found 38 percent approval.
Independent voters more likely supported Biden in the 2020 election by a margin of 54%-41%, according to reports by Selzer & Co. president J. Ann Selzer.
The Independent vote would go to Trump by a margin of 45%-28% if the election were held again today.
“It’s a massive shift in a demographic that helped carry Biden to victory,” Selzer said.
More than half (52%) of Americans think the US democratic system is at risk, according to the Grinnell survey.
Today, only 35% of Democrats and 71% of Republicans said democracy faced a major threat after voters were reflecting polarized.
According to the survey, Americans have fallen out of trust in the media dramatically, with only 36% saying they believe what’s being reported is accurate

Over 40% of Independents disagree that the threat is severe, whereas Grinnell professor Danielle Lussier dismissed the worries as the result of Republicans believing there is a crisis amid “baseless” allegations of election fraud.
According to the poll, more than 80% of Independents are concerned either seriously or somewhat about the strength of the American democracy, versus less than 20% who do not see a threat.
