Arrests Made 2 Louisville Men Charged in Boyle County Sting Operation

Two Louisville men, David Needy and Eric Shelton, face charges following a Boyle County sting operation.

Court documents reveal Needy’s charge of promoting/procuring a minor for a s*xual performance via electronic means.

Detectives disclosed that Needy engaged with an individual he believed to be a 15-year-old girl in Danville, soliciting explicit photos and proposing *exual acts involving another girl he assumed to be 12 years old in the vicinity.

Similarly, Eric Shelton was arrested in connection to the same charge. Detectives reported Shelton’s interaction with a person he thought was a 15-year-old Danville girl last month, where he requested photos.
