ARCADIA, California (KABC) – Authorities said an Arcadia Police Department K-9 helped them. In seizing 80 kilograms of cocaine worth approximately $25 million on Sunday.
According to the @ProtectArcadia Twitter account, the confiscation occurred during a traffic stop conducted by another agency. Aided by a police dog named Kruz and his partner. The other agency was not named publicly.
The tweet stated, “During that traffic stop, Kruz, I was made aware of the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.”

When ABC7 reached out for comment, an Arcadia police spokesperson declined to reveal any additional information about the encounter, citing the sensitive nature of a narcotics investigation.
The seized cocaine is packaged in dozens of green bundles, some in black bags and others in boxes, according to a photo released by @ProtectArcadia.
