On Sunday night, a woman lost her life in a motorbike accident on Schwartz Road, just past the intersection of Notestine Road. The collision occurred shortly after 5:30 p.m.
The woman on the motorcycle was traveling south on Schwartz when, for an unidentified cause, her bike veered off the road, according to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the police, she was thrown from the bike, which kept going until it stopped next to a fence. She was brought to a hospital in a serious to critical state, but her injuries ultimately claimed her life.

Following a brief closure of the southbound lane, both lanes of Schwartz Road were reopened, according to a crew on the site.
After the autopsy is finished, the Allen County Coroner will reveal the woman’s identity.
