Alanis Morissette Cancelled Her Performance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Due to the “Anti-Woman” Reception She Received
Alanis Morissette replied to “misinformed rumblings” over her absence from Saturday’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony late on Monday (November 7), stating she had no desire to “spend time in an atmosphere that degrades women.”
Even though Billboard saw an early event overview that included Morissette singing “You’re So Vain” with Olivia Rodrigo as a tribute to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame entrant Carly Simon, her name did not appear on the final set list.

Page Six says that Morissette and Rodrigo practised the duet on Friday, but the 19-year-old pop star did the performance by herself in the end.
