After being Pistol-Whipped, A 76-Year-Old Woman was Kidnapped from a Church

On Thursday, police requested the public’s assistance in locating the two men who robbed, assaulted, and kidnapped a 76-year-old woman from a church in National City.

According to National City law enforcement, a 911 call was made on November 28 at approximately 9:00 p.m., describing a possible robbery that had just occurred in the 1400 block of East 8th Street.

According to Lieutenant Derek Aydelotte of the National City Police Department, when officers arrived at the stated home, they found a 76-year-old woman with severe facial damage. Police said two black guys armed with guns entered the International Church of Praise on East 8th Street in National City and confronted the victim.

According to the authorities, the two men kidnapped the woman as she drove her car in the city of San Diego and took her to her home after demanding her address.

According to reports, the suspects took the victim to her house, but when she refused to get out of the car, they drove her back to National City and abandoned her in her car outside a strip mall on the 1400 block of East 8th Street.

Aydelotte stated that the woman managed to get away and seek assistance at a local establishment. As of now, the victim’s status is unknown.

National City police are asking the public to help them locate the criminals

The National City police have stated that an investigation into the “violent incident” is currently underway to determine the incident’s motive and the circumstances surrounding it.
