A Man was Shot Dead in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham Area- The Suspect was Arrested Within Moments after the Incident

Authorities announced Saturday that they had detained a suspect in the early morning shooting death of a 60-year-old man. The shooting happened in the Auburn Gresham area of the city, specifically in the 7800 block of South Honore, at around 3:40 in the morning.

After getting into an altercation inside a home, the defendant allegedly pulled out a revolver and shot the victim many times, as reported by the police. The man was initially rushed to a local hospital in severe condition after being shot multiple times in the chest, stomach, and right thigh. They say he succumbed to his wounds later on.

Harry Bowen, 46, the suspect, ran from the house after the shooting but was tracked down and arrested. The cops said they found a gun at the site. Monday is when Bowen will make his Central Bond Court appearance.
