A Glass Window Fell From The Second Floor and Crashed to the Ground in Jewelers Row

On Tuesday night, a window at Jewelers Row in the Loop crashed to the ground from the second floor below. The window shattered at the Jewelers Center in the Mallers Building at 5 S. Wabash Ave. shortly after 6 p.m.

The footage from the surveillance cameras captured the shattering of the glass. Close by are the steps leading up from the ‘L’ stop at Washington/Wabash Loop. Emergency personnel removed the broken glass and placed red caution tape around the area.
