Blake Anderson walked slowly and painfully across a courtyard in Leimert Park with his family, lawyers, and activists on Friday.
Days earlier, he and his legal team have described an event as an aggressive and unjustified attack.
In it, the 24-year-old was taken into custody by Los Angeles County sheriff’s officials. They said that they are now seeking justice.
Police Severely Assaulted Anderson
The cops had severely assaulted him without cause. He says; “I then questioned them, What did I do? What have I done? I repeated my question, What did I do? and they just slammed my head and punched me. “

Anderson stood stiffly on his feet while donning a grey shirt and mask. He addressed the group of reporters. He then sat back down after lifting his sunglasses to show a black patch over his right eye.
He said he would eventually lose the eye because the violent arrest had made an injury that hadn’t been treated worse.
Because they are collecting material, Anderson’s lawyers did not specify when they would file a federal civil rights complaint against the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department.
Force Incident with Armed Subject
Little information has been released by the Sheriff’s Office on the event or what caused officers to make the arrest on Sunday.

The deputies “were engaged in a use of force incident with an armed subject” in Inglewood, the agency stated in a press release on Wednesday.
However, the agency has not disclosed whether Anderson was sought for any offence or a warrant was issued for his arrest. Agency did not provide any information on the circumstances behind the move-in of deputies.
Anderson in Custody
He was taken into custody. It is because he was thought to be a convicted criminal with a handgun, ammunition, a loaded and hidden gun, and a weapon used to attack a peace officer.
Anderson was allegedly working as a security guard at the Good Batch Hookah Lounge in Inglewood when the cops ambushed him.
The event was recorded on a bystander’s cellphone footage, which Anderson’s lawyer Ben Crump subsequently tweeted.
