$575 Million Will Be Paid Out as Stimulus Payments by January. How to Receive Yours?

Many Americans will receive stimulus payments soon.

This is not about the federal government providing a fourth stimulus check for the coronavirus, despite calls from lawmakers and the public for more direct payments. In place of federal funding, the states are stepping up.

In many places, including California, residents will receive stimulus funds. It is estimated that 803,000 people in California will get paid for this round of stimulus money, which began on Dec. 10, 2021.

It is believed that the last in this batch of payments will arrive at the beginning of 2022, either via direct deposit into people’s bank accounts or by mail.

To determine if you will receive one, here’s what you should know.
