The Department of Public Health & Environment has confirmed four outdoor deaths since the arrival of subzero weather in Denver on Friday.
The deaths are being investigated to see if they are related to the extreme cold, with toxicology and coroner results awaited.

Over the weekend, Denver was hit with a blast of cold weather, with temperatures falling below zero and a bitter north wind creating wind chill readings as low as -24 degrees.

Denver International Airport suffered the brunt of the severe weather, with 609 flights canceled between Friday and Sunday.
Sunday had the most flight cancellations and delays among US airports, with 257 flights canceled and 538 delayed. Travelers were delayed as a result of bad weather.
