In Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood on Thursday afternoon, three people were shot, one fatally. According to authorities, shots were fired by an unidentified offender at two men and a woman who were on the sidewalk outside the McDonald‘s at 95th Street and Lafayette Avenue about 2:47 p.m.
A 29-year-old male was shot in the body and sent to Christ Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the police. A 27-year-old male was shot in the back and was transported in good condition to Christ Hospital.
According to authorities, a 49-year-old lady was shot in the right arm and was brought in critical condition to the University of Chicago Hospital. No one was reportedly detained. The inquiry is still ongoing.
