23-Year-Old Man Killed In Apartment Complex Shooting, Investigation Ongoing
According to a news release issued by the Denton Police Department on Tuesday, the investigation into the shooting that claimed the life of a 23-year-old man occurred Monday night.
Police responded to a report of gunfire at an apartment building in the 1600 block of East McKinney Street at approximately ten o’clock on Monday night.
Officers arrived and discovered the victim in the parking area suffering from gunshot wounds. According to the announcement, officers tried life-saving techniques until paramedics could arrive.
According to the announcement, the male suspect, who stayed at the site, was taken into custody and is assisting with the investigation.

After being brought to a nearby hospital, the person was declared dead. Daniel Ryan, a 23-year-old resident of Denton, was recognized by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The suspect and the victim, according to the detectives, were strangers. The inquiry into the events that preceded the shooting is still underway.
