A single-vehicle collision in Dickson County early on Friday morning claimed the lives of two persons.
According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) crash report, the collision occurred in the 1700 block of Highway 48 South just before 1:15 a.m.
The investigation stated that while driving north on Highway 48 South, 23-year-old Kyler Spicer’s 2006 Mazda MZ3 veered off the right side of the road, returned to it, and over the double yellow line.

According to authorities, the car then veered off the left side of the road, down an embankment, and struck a telephone pole.
In the crash, Spicer and passenger Gavyn Potter, 22, perished, according to THP. Nothing more was made public.
