The chase suspect, driving a silver Nissan Sentra, intermittently turned off his headlights on SoCal highways. Before returning to the 710, the motorist used the north and southbound 5 Freeway and eastbound 10 Freeway.
After leaving the highway in Downey and getting on Imperial Highway, the suspect looked to be driving towards a parking lot but suddenly drove back over a curb.
Later, he slowed the vehicle, disembarked, and fled on foot. Sky5 filmed CHP police unleashing a K-9 on a passenger in the chase car.
A booze shop spotted the Nissan driver hiding. Both were arrested.
