A man from Florida, who is 19 years old, was taken into custody and accused with allegedly making a threat to carry out a mass shooting on a subway in New York City during the Thanksgiving holiday.
According to the allegations, Robert Trout III uploaded a video to his Instagram account in which he threatened to travel to New York and “cause havoc on the subway subway.”
According to the prosecution, he displayed a number of weaponry, including two semi-automatic pistols with extended magazines, in the video.

“If you’re from New York City, do not take the train on Thursday evening,” Trout said in the video.
While he was holding sixty rounds, he showed one of the clips and said, “60 shots – that’s 60 people dead.”
Trout was taken into custody on November 22nd, and he has remained there ever since in custody.

Friday was Trout’s first appearance in federal court in Tampa, Florida, where he was ordered to be imprisoned awaiting the outcome of future hearings.
Trout is subject to a potential five-year prison sentence in the event that he is found guilty.
