16-Year-Old Boy Killed In A Double Drive-By Shooting In Chicago After Being Critically Injured

WLS-TV in Chicago reports, According to Chicago police. A 16-year-old boy died after he and another teen were critically injured in a shooting on the West Side on Wednesday.

The medical examiner’s office identified Davante Steadman.

Around 5:21 p.m., the two 16-year-old boys were standing outside when a vehicle passed on W. Gladys Ave., and someone inside fired shots and S. Hamlin Blvd. in East Garfield Park.

According to police, one teen was shot in the head and the other in the stomach.

According to police, the teens were taken to local hospitals and are both in critical condition.

At least two dozen evidence markers were scattered across the street in video from the scene.

So far, no one is in custody. Area Four detectives are investigating.
