100,000 Ukrainian Refugees Offered Free Housing by Airbnb

Airbnb will provide free temporary housing for up to 100,000 Ukrainian migrants following the Russian invasion.

Airbnb.org, a home-rental service, will assist relocate Ukrainian refugees throughout the world.

Airbnb, donations to its refugee fund, and homeowners eager to provide reduced or free housing will provide free lodging for the refugees.

“Airbnb hosts and guests are pleased to support this fantastic effort,” it said.

Others donate millions of pounds to charities that help those most harmed by the Ukraine crisis. Pandora contributed almost $1 million (£746,000) to Unicef’s children’s charity, while Kurt Geiger offered the British Red Cross £50,000 to help people caught in the war.

Companies have increased their donations to Ukraine, with huge sums arriving only yesterday.
