According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a collision that occurred on Saturday in Marion County involving two automobiles resulted in the death of one of the individuals involved and sent multiple passengers to the hospital.
According to the state police, the collision took place around 9:32 a.m. on U.S. Highway 441 at NW 85th Loop, which is located north of Ocala.
An SUV that was being driven by a woman who was 76 years old and from The Villages was going east on NW 85th Loop at the stop sign that was located at the junction with U.S. Highway 441, as stated in the report of the accident.

At the same moment, a pickup truck that was being driven by a man from Ruskin who was 38 years old was approaching NW 85 Loop while heading south in the outside southbound lane of U.S. Highway 441.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the SUV entered the southbound lanes of United States Highway 441 in order to make a left turn, which was a violation of the pickup truck’s right-of-way.
The report states that the front of the vehicle collided with the left side of the SUV shortly after the collision.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver of the SUV was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was subsequently pronounced deceased.
According to the troopers, the driver of the truck and one of the passengers sustained critical injuries, while two other passengers were diagnosed with lesser injuries and treated for them.
